P-Town Punisher Hill Climb Race

Registration: 7:00 to 7:30
Riders meeting: 7:30
Location: San Pedro Terrace Rd and Peralta Rd
Entry Fee: Cash only | $15
We will register and park at San Pedro Terrace Rd, and pedal up to the start at the Higgins Gate after the pre-race meeting (safety). Categories will be determined by number of registrants. Post race celebration and awards at 1500 Adobe Dr. 94044 (bottom of Adobe) following final finishers and descent.
Start at the gate at the top of Higgins Rd. in Pacifica, end at the North Peak of Montara Mtn.

Course Description
Come test yourself at the first annual P-town Punisher hillclimb race to the top of Montara Mountain. Starting in Pacifica at the gate on Higgins, wind your way up the scenic Old Coast Highway, past the Boyscout trails, Mile, and up to Crossroads, where the truly punished will have to pound a can of America's finest. Descend the broken pavement a short way, past a couple of washed out sections, and make a hard left turn up The Wall (Montara Mountain fire road) and prepare to puke up your lungs. This is the steepest section of the climb and the spot where mere mortals (or single speed sufferers) get off and walk. Once past the wall, kick it up a notch and power a few more rolling steepies to the 360 degree view from the Towers. The finish line will be at North Peak, where refreshments, rivalry and ridicule will await. The P-town Punisher will take a seat at the hand crafted throne of stone and survey the vast kingdom below.
